Christmas House Party 2012
Dec. 23, 2012 - Dec. 27, 2012
The perfect location for a Christmas vacation.
Sunday 23rd December 2012
On arrival at the Manor, you will be personally greeted by a member of our team. From the beautifully appointed lobby area with its’ roaring log fire, you will be escorted to your elegant and luxurious bedroom; your home-from-home for the next few days.
Once you have settled in, join fellow guests for cream tea served in one of our cosy lounges infront of a log fire. Dine at your own leisure, in Sixteen 58, our award winning Restaurant from our three course Table d'hote menu.
Christmas Eve
Take breakfast at your leisure and spend the day relaxing in the lovely lounges at the Manor or finish some last minute Christmas shopping in nearby Stow-on-the-Wold or Cheltenham.
Join fellow guests and our local carol singers in the lounge for a Champagne canapé reception before enjoying a fabulous four course dinner in our restaurant. We wish to offer you the chance to experience Midnight Mass in the pretty village church nearby, followed by warm mince pies and mulled wine on your return.
Christmas Day
Take breakfast at your own leisure, enjoy some quiet time in one of our comfortable lounges, or enjoy a bracing stroll along the pretty River Eye and through the village to work up an appetite, before sitting down to a traditional Christmas lunch in our restaurant. Enjoy some traditional games in the lounges with tea and Christmas cake being served whilst Her Majesty makes her speech, followed by your knowledge to the inaugural Lower Slaughter Manor Christmas quiz. A delightful buffet will be served during the evening.
Boxing Day
After a full English breakfast, enjoy a walk around the Slaughter villages. There are of course the Cotswold towns of Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh a short drive away should you feel like a little sales shopping. The Manor will also arrange some country pursuits for those of you who are feeling more energetic with a soup and sandwich lunch provided. Enjoy a fabulous champagne and canapé reception followed by a stunning five course, black tie gourmet dinner in our restaurant before rounding off the evening with our fun casino until midnight.
